Good morning Emma and Jackie. It's lovely to hear from you Emma and do hope all goes well with you and Joe and both of you on the road to recovery. I am feeling a little better but still have that stuffed up feeling in the head, hopefully I will be on the mend shortly. Off to my line dance classes today, have to keep going can't give up. Have a pleasant day both of you.

Knew you would suss it out Jackie Laughing

Your saga is quite a coincidence regarding tracing your family. I do hope you get a result by Christmas it would be a very special one for you. Will keep my fingers crossed for you Jackie.

Good morning Dani. Emma I do hope you are now keeping well.

Its another rather grey, foggy but dry start to our day.

Dani I always knew I was adopted by my natural birth father and his wife who unfortunately could not have children, so I was told. I also knew from the start my birth mothers name, and that I was born in Edinburgh.
Strange thing was, I wasn't even looking for her, ( tried that in the past ) but due to looking up the lady who lit the paralympic torch flame, a Mrs Margaret Maughan, who was my art and needlework teacher at my old school, I came across this website whereby you can place a missing persons add, whereby I received one interesting and genuine leading reply.

Why I posted on this particular website, well right staring in front of my face was an add from my then " estranged daughter " asking for info leading to her birth father. How strange is all that, what a strange coincidence that drew me to where I am at now.

I am pushing this as much as I can, to get a result by Christmas if at all possible.

Dani I have been wanting to know who this person is that is called " admin " " who is she, what is her name " but now at last I have fathomed out it is you.

    Mystery solved. Smile

Good morning Emma and Jackie - hope you are taking it easy Emma, let us know how you are getting on when you can.

Jackie - doing a family history can be very stressful especially when you come to a dead end and exhausted all possible avenues. Alan has been researching his family for several years and he says he has come to a dead end. Don't lose heart Jackie, sometimes it's good to take a break from hit and then come back refreshed.

Yes this virus has gone on long enough, but trying to get to see a doctor is a miracle at least I have an appointment with the practice nurse on Monday, better than nothing I suppose.

Good morning Emma and Jackie. Started sunny and bright but now it's cloudy with a little breeze. Just dried the towels and did a bit of ironing, practised a new dance, and that's my lot for the day. Hope you are taking it easy Emma and not overdoing it and hope your having a good day Jackie.

Good Monday morning. A grey, wet, yet slightly warmer than yesterday start to our day.R left early for golf, and I am just back from walking the three dogs. At least we didn't get wet, its only a slight misting of rain.

Good morning Emma and Jackie - yesterday was a miserable day with rain all day and today is no better. Had a headache yesterday and it's still with me today, hence reason why I wasn't around. It was Alan's nephew's wedding Jackie, only a registry one but still a beautiful event held at Woolwich Town Hall.

Off to line dance this afternoon, not sure if I shall be doing a lot of dancing unless the head clears up. Hope you both have a pleasant day in spite of the weather.

Good morning - bright and sunny start to the day. Alan is out watering some of the plants as they seem to be drooping with no rain lately. Not doing much today, well a little bit of ironing and washing my hair. Shan't be around much from tomorrow evening until Saturday , off to nephew's wedding Friday and coming back Saturday.

Have a pleasant day Emma and Jackie
