Haven't been around for a while myself now. Been down with a nasty cold/flu virus, has left me feeling very tired and with no energy. Fed up with the weather too, longing for bright and sunny warm days. Hope everyone is well, and come backas the forum is too quiet Very Happy

Hi Emma and Jackie - hope your both well, it's been dead on here for over a week now. I have managed to get rid of that nasty cold of mine, it dragged on for almost 6 weeks. Have now booked up for my flu jab in December, so keping away from coughs and sneezes until then Rolling Eyes Have sold my Mazda sports car and swapped it for a Vauxhall Meriva. Needed mored space and a bigger boot to get all my line dancing stuff in, the sports car was really impracticable although nice in the summer with the top down. Can't have everything I suppose.

Hope all is well with you and look forward to seeing back in due course. Take care.

    xx

Hi Jackie, it's been quiet on here. Emma hasn't popped in for over a week now, hope she is well and taking things easy. Have you bookmarked this page Jackie, saves you looking to get back in if you lose the link. I have been down with a virus and caught a secondary infection so I am well and truly out of action, or have been for two weeks. Just beginning to get better but now have an ear infection so have to see the practice nurse next week. What else can go wrong Rolling Eyes

Good afternoon Dani, and I hope Emma is keeping well after her scare last month.

I haven't been in for a few weeks as I actually lost the link, and couldnt find my way back in up till now.

Our weather has been very foggy these last two days. Not the weather to want to drive in, thankfully I am not in any hurry to do that at the moment.

Good afternoon, not a bad day weatherwise, seems to be remaining dry and bright.

Thoughts are with you Emma, hope all is well.

Nothing much exciting going on here, but we did venture into the village last night to watch the local amature dramatics performing a play called
    " Rope."

Its only a small theatre but it does put on some good shows as last nights show was. There were only eight performers but all played their parts very well.

Sorry to hear that Emma. Its good you got yourself an early Drs appointment, the sooner the better. I guess we are now at that age to start getting these warning signs. Hoping its something or nothing and you will be back on that road to recovery within the next day or two..

Good Afternoon,I havent been feeling too good.
Went Dr this morning,I have had blood tests done
and ECG,think I am having Angina attacks, not nice.
I have to go to hospital for more tests, when they send for me.
Wondering what the blood tests will show up,I have to take
    4 aspirins a day for 2 weeks,then 1 a day,I have also been
given a spray, for under my tongue, when I get the pains.
How quickly these things happen, dont they?
Will try and slow down a bit,and TRY to avoid stress.

Good Sunday afternoon Emma and Dani.

Dani I must have missed your posting of whose wedding you attended yesterday. Glad to hear everything went to plan.

Its really cold wet and miserable here. I've just this minute put our heating on for the first time since having our new boiler installed.

It was dry first thing when out with the dogs, but so cold I donned my fleece.

Good afternoon Emma and Jackie - yes got home safely and had a super time. The wedding went off very well, no hitches. We went off to a bistro afterwards for a meal, lots of wine, port and cheese platter at the end. In the evening more merry making at nephew's house, by 11.15 we decided it was time for us oldies to get to our beds Laughing Good to be back home, and my bed. Off to the games room now.

Good Wednesday afternoon Dani and Emma.
Weathers not too bad, still dry, pleasant in the sun, but a tad chillier than it has been. Had to nip out to a participating post office that takes your car licence photo over the counter. My 10 year photo expires end of October, so had my reminder come through. Then done a small shop in Morrisons where I usually park the car when I visit once a month to go to my bank.

Good afternoon. Weather still not very good as yesterday, cloudy with the occasional sun but nothing to speak of. Not doing much just playing around making a necklace.
