This is going to drag on a while longer. He is now going to appeal against being deported to Jordan, or something like that.

Theresa May scored a rare victory yesterday when Euro judges threw out hate preacher Abu Qatada’s latest attempt to block his deportation to Jordan on terror charges
    .
The European Court of Human Rights ruled the Home Secretary did get her dates wrong when she declared the deadline for Qatada to appeal to Strasbourg against his removal had passed.
But the judges still rejected his plea for them to hear his case again.

A relieved Mrs May – who would have faced a political firestorm if the court had agreed to re-open the case in full – said she was confident Qatada would soon be ‘out of Britain for good’.
